Obituary

BANGOR – Ralph F. Kennedy, 45, of Bangor, died April 19, 1989, at a local hospital.  He was born in Newark, N.J., March 28, 1944, the son of James and Irene (Quinan) Kennedy.  He was a graduate of Asbury High School and Husson College, Class of 1970.  Ralph was a member and former vice-president of Kappa Delta Phi fraternity and a member and past vice-president of the Alumni Association.  He served in the U.S. Navy and was employed at the University of Maine for 10 years, where he was a member of the Association of College and University Housing Officers, a member of the University of Maine ‘M’ Club and an active supporter of athletics of the university.  At the time of his death, Ralph was the owner of Kennedy Management Services of Bangor, a member of the Certified Property Managers with the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Parish Council of St. Mary’s Catholic Community, Bangor.  Surviving besides his wife, Gale M. (Adams) Kennedy of Bangor are his mother, Irene Kennedy Stanley of Oceanside California; two brothers, Charles Kennedy and Frank Kennedy, both of New Jersey; several nieces and nephews.
