Patricia "Patty-Ann" (Marciano) Montedoro, 65, of Bradley Beach, passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, after a brief illness. Patty was born and raised in Asbury Park and lived in Bradley Beach for the last 43 years.
Patty was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Montedoro, in 2009. She was also predeceased by her father, Anthony "Hoxie" Marciano, in 1978. She is survived by her three children, her son, Anthony Montedoro and his wife Doreen of Richmond, Va.; her daughter, Danielle Murphy and her husband Kevin of Brick; and her son, Joseph Montedoro and his wife Jane of Holly Ridge, N.C. She is also survived by her mother, Rose Marciano; and her sisters, Lucille Sprigg and her husband William, and Phyllis Rosechild and her companion, Mary, both of Arizona. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Nicholas Montedoro, Taylor Murphy, and Gianna Montedoro.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3 at the Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Avenues, Neptune. The funeral will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4 for an 11 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Asbury Park. Interment will be Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Neptune.
