Ray and I went out for awhile in my sophmore year and I will always remember how his mom taught me how to make Christmas stockings out of red felt and sew them together with white yarn and put sequins on them one at a time to make the first name. It was the first "hand craft" I think I ever did and I made one like that for each of my kids on their first Christmas.
